Preface

If someone asked me the question: “Why write another book about the gospel of Jesus Christ?” My first answer may most likely be: “Like Paul of Tarsus, it all began with a heavenly vision from the Lord” (Acts 26:13-19). I initially wrote this informative book because multiple visions from Jesus the Savior inspired me to do so—read details in Introduction. But, of course, you will have to be the judge if the gospel of salvation presented in this book is based upon sound biblical truths. After investigating the facts presented, I believe you will find conclusive scriptural evidence.

Dear friends, my earnest desire is for you to read this book because I know the information contained within will provide invaluable truths regarding the true biblical gospel, as it did for me. The truths contained herein revolutionized and forever changed my life. You will also benefit from reading this life-changing book that is biblically proven, in-depth, and unveils gospel truths about salvation that Satan and demons hates, fears, and do not want any human to know (Luke 8:12; 2 Cor. 4:3-4).

With that being said, many people believe all doctrinal truths taught from the Bible is the gospel, not knowing the gospel has a precise and concise message that pertains to God’s forgiveness of sins and salvation from sin’s dire penalties of death and hell. The gospel tells people how to receive eternal life through  the crucified and risen Jesus Christ, along with other eternal blessings in heaven and the new world to come. The gospel is the greatest message that God has given to a sinful and dying world, for without its truths no one can be saved or receive eternal blessings.

Therefore, I wrote this book to help others understand that one saving message based upon the gospel proclaimed in scriptures by the original apostles. Why? I do not want people to go through the same experiences I had with religions and so-called gospels of salvation. It took me many years to discover the information contained in this book. My desire is to help people avoid the lost years of trying to understand the one true biblical gospel, and missing out on God’s forgiveness, salvation, and eternal blessings that it provides: by making that specific message readily available to inquisitive students of scriptures who are willing to search and examine biblical facts like those of Berea (Acts 17:10-12).

In this book of more than 3,500 scripture quotations and references, I provide irrefutable biblical evidence that proves the gospel’s one message of salvation through the crucified and risen Savior. The information shown herein may be like none other most people have read regarding the subject. Readers will be amazed to discover truths about the gospel that they may have never considered or known to exist in the Bible—I was amazed.

This powerfully written book proves the gospel to be the grace-bestowing (Acts 20:24), blood-redeeming (Eph. 1:7), sin-cleansing (Heb. 10:10-18), soul-saving (1 Peter 1:9-12), death-abolishing (2 Tim. 1:10), grave-conquering (1 Cor. 15:1-4; 1 Thess. 4:14), hell-liberating (Rev. 1:18, Matt. 16:18), kingdom-entering (Matt. 16:19), heaven-assuring (1 Peter 1:3-5; Col. 1:5-6); life-giving (2 Tim. 1:10; 1 Pet.1:23-25); life-renewing (2 Cor. 5:17-21), heart-purifying (Acts 15:7-9), mind-changing (Eph. 4:23; Col. 1:21-23), spirit-reviving (Romans 1:9), guilt-removing (Rom. 8:1; Heb. 9:14), Holy Spirit-sending (Gal. 3:14; Eph. 1:13), blessing and glory-obtaining (Rom. 15:29; 2 Thess. 2:14), inheritance-restoring (Eph. 1:11-14; Heb. 9:15), religion-freeing (Gal. 1:11-16), world-delivering (Gal. 1:4), Devil-defeating (Col. 2:13-15; 1 John 3:8), and bondage-destroying (Rom. 8:15; Col. 1:12-14) “POWER OF GOD unto salvation” (Rom. 1:16; 1 Cor. 1:17-18) by Jesus Christ the crucified and risen Savior.

The fact that the gospel’s simple message—viewed by some as being too elementary and oftentimes disrespected—could be so powerful will not only be startling, but utterly astounding as biblical truths are convincingly presented. It is one thing to believe the gospel to be saved; it is another thing to know the gospel’s fullness (Rom. 15:29) and the eternal blessings God has provided through its message; so we could grow into the fullness of our born-again heritage as his children (Eph. 1:17-20; 1 John 3:1-2).

Without a correct understanding of the gospel’s full blessings, it becomes impossible to grow into the fullness of Christ (Eph. 4:13-16). A person can only be as strong as the foundational information upon which his or her faith is built. If faith is not built upon Jesus Christ according to the gospel, it will surely fail (Psalm 11:3; Luke 6:46-49; 1 Cor. 3:10-15).

To better clarify myself, I once studied the Bible day and night and personally quoted many New Testament books almost verbatim. I virtually knew where most scriptures in the Bible were located—even the odd names in the Chronicles—and was once determined to learn to quote the entire Bible. Moreover, I would also receive several biblical sermons instantly and could teach them immediately, as scriptures from Genesis to Revelation would flash in my mind. I once received several months of weekly biblical lessons instantaneously, and could teach them immediately from the scriptures. Other ministers sometimes called me a walking Bible.

Still, I did not understand the full powerful truths of the simple gospel of Jesus Christ, as shown in this book. Although I had initially accepted the Lord Jesus as Savior based upon the correct gospel, the sobering fact is that religion, self-righteousness, and unbiblical gospels nearly blinded me regarding grace, faith, true righteousness, and biblical salvation.

Like Paul, who had to count his pharisaical knowledge as loss to embrace Christ and true righteousness according to the gospel (Gal. 1:11-17; Phil. 3:4-9), I had to shed doctrinal misinterpretations to embrace the true biblical gospel after the gracious Savior appeared unto me and began to reveal those powerful eye-opening truths. Being an ardent student of the Bible, who respect proven scriptural facts more than popular wrong doctrines, religious ideologies, or accepted traditions: the Holy Spirit convincingly showed me the original gospel with sound biblical truths.

Dear readers, you may already know the true biblical gospel and for this I commend you, but to the vast majority who are not sure, I sincerely ask: Do you truly know the correct unadulterated biblical Gospel—I thought I did? Are you assured by uncontestable scriptural facts? Or, do you believe a false gospel as shown in 2 Corinthians 11:4 and Galatians 1:6-9? Are you willing to find the answers? Why should we bother to do so? The reason being, our eternal destiny in heaven or hell may hinge upon our decision and willingness to validate the gospel we claim to believe.

I wrote this book not to be judgmental or condemning, but to be a blessing unto others as helpers of their faith (2 Cor. 1:24). Therefore, it is not my intention to disrespect anyone who claims to believe the gospel. However, when researched, what is oftentimes mistakenly called “The Gospel” has nothing to do with the precise and concise one taught by the apostles and foretold by the prophets. Sadly, the word “gospel” has been inappropriately applied to support many unscriptural ideas about salvation based upon numerous misinterpretations, mistaken beliefs, and traditions.

For that reason, I wrote this book to provide soul-searching biblical truths to help readers to either discover or authenticate the correct message of salvation based upon the true gospel, which scripturally equips them to also identify today’s unbiblical gospels. Readers will also discover in-depth facts concerning Satan’s crushing defeat and the ultimate reason why he fears the gospel’s true message and instigates all attempts to hide its powerful truths from humanity, as shown in 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.

This book is must read for anyone seriously desiring to acquire a profound understanding of the original gospel commissioned by the Lord Jesus in Mark 16:15-16. You will enjoy reading this exceptional book and not regret that you chose to do so. If you value scripturally proven in-depth information that is easy-to-understand, this book is written for you.

So friends, you are invited to re-examine the “authentic” saving message of Christ from an accurate biblical perspective that could forever change your life. Acknowledgement goes to our gracious Lord, who gave me thousands of insightful scriptures through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as I wrote Volume I of this book. God bless you all.
